Newcastle Wedding Photographer + Popcorn Photography + Bec and Eddie

I can not even begin to explain how much we absolutely looooove and adore Bec and Eddie. They truly are two perfect little peas in a pod and Mere and I both feel incredibly lucky and blessed to not only have photographed such a special day for them, but also now call them our friends.

Shortly after photographing their Wedding, we recieved this email from the newlyweds:

"Hi you ridiculously beautiful ladies,

Hope you are doing amazing. We have recently just got back from our honeymoon and wanted to share the love and email you to say YOU ARE JUST INCREDIBLE! ❤️

We had the most amazing, memorable, perfect, hilarious and had crazy fun with you guys on the day. Trying new things, swearing occasionally, climbing cliff tops, vogue poses, loving love and most of all having you as our guests.

We will never forget such beautiful souls that you both are, I felt like we have known each other always. I would relive that day over and over again and have you as our photographer hands down, you are both so talented are such beautiful company.

Ps will be sending something special your way.

Thank you again ❤️
Mr and Mrs Howe xxx"

Even sweeter, after they recieved their images - Bec and Eddie sent us this:

"OMG ❤

You ladies are just phenomenal! These photos are god damn amazing! It's perfection!

We love love love every shot and can't wait to see the rest of them. These have made our heart melt and relive our perfect day.

Thank you thank you thank you!"

Little did we know that this naughty pair had also sent us the most incredible black leather pouches from TDE (The Daily Edited) with our initials on them as a present - so amazing, we are so grateful!!

On the 21st October 2016, these two lovebirds tied the knot at King Edward Park overlooking the ocean and continued over to Merewether Surfhouse for their Reception.

Bec and Eddie both got ready seperately in Newcastle, Eddie getting ready super close to the beach and Bec getting ready near Darby Street with their gorgeous groomswoman, groomsmen and bridesmaids.

They then met up before the Ceremony to do a 'first look' - all I can say is... you MUST check out the images below. I still get teary re-living that moment unfold and the look of sheer joy and love on their faces is enough to send shivers up anyone's spine.

After the beautiful Ceremony was all over, done and dusted - we all climbed a huge cliff to do the location shoot which resulted in some of the most epic photos (well, we think so!), that we've ever taken. We then travelled over to Merewether Baths where myself, Mere and our fabulously talented friends Matt and Tash from Design Patrol basically went for a little swim to capture the rest of the location shoot. Bec and Eddie were both just so blissfully happy and each and every photograph of them just emits such incredible magical vibes. They love and care for each other so much and the way in which Eddie speaks about how much he adores Bec is simply beautiful.

The Reception that followed was full of laughter, tears and some AWESOME moments. The speeches were both heartfelt and hilarious and were a true reflection of the kind of people that these two newlyweds are. Bec secretly had planned to sing "Can't help falling in love" by Elvis Presley for Eddie and let me tell you, there was not one dry eye in that entire room.

A huuuuuge thank you from the very bottom of our hearts to Bec and Eddie for allowing us to be a part of their day - we felt and still feel so blown away by the kindness, love and happiness that these two have shared with us. Being able to tell their love story and capture their day unfold has been an unforgettable experience and by far one of our absolute favourite Weddings to date!

Big love and huge squishy cuddles,

Laura & Mere xxxx
