Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer + Wandin Valley Estate + Sam & Drew

Gosh I loved this Wedding! Sam & Drew were married on the 7th June & it was a perfect winter afternoon in Hunter Valley Wine Country. Their Ceremony was at Lovedale Chapel (Carmson Estate) & Reception at Wandin Valley Estate, which we love. Laura & I met up with Sam & the girls at Wandin, where they prepared for the big day. Sam was stunning in her custom designed dress and I loved the intricate lace work. Rog met up with Drew and boys where it was all smiles and just a few butterflies from the Groom to be.

They became Mr & Mrs before their loved ones and then we all ventured off for the location photos. Sam & Drew picked well with their bridal party, who were all seriously good looking and fun to boot. We soaked up the golden light capturing the magic of their love and also a little mayhem!

The reception was sensational, the styling elegant and cake beautiful. After the formalities with smiles on our faces it was time to leave the happy couple to dance the night away.

Enjoy this lovely sneak peek and a big thank you hug to Sam & Drew for choosing Popcorn Photography to capture your special day.

Sunshine & Smiles

Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer + Peppers Convent + Leaves & Fishes + Dave & Jemma Sneak Peek

Every now and then, a Couple comes along and you know in your heart their Wedding is going to be particularly special. This was one of those occasions for me and I was blessed to be able to photograph it with my very talented daughter Laura. Dave & Jemma, entered our Competition a little while ago and I found their story incredibly moving. They chose the 16th September to be married as the date has significant meaning to them and an amazing day it was. Laura and I started by photographing Dave and his best man Dan. If I didn’t know Dave was about to marry Jemma, I would have assumed Dave & Dan had been married for at least 10 years - Laura & I were in fits of giggles with their banter.

We then drove to Peppers Convent, where we met up with Jemma and her Maid of Honour Sarah, Jemma was the epitome of elegance and looked absolutely stunning, while Sarah wore a navy dress by the Goddess herself Vera Wang.

Jemma & Dave decided to see each other before the Ceremony, so they could have photographs taken at Peppers, which was a great idea and I’m sure you will agree that they look beautiful!

They shared their vows before family and friends at the sublime Leaves & Fishes, Lovedale. One of my all time favourite Celebrants, Kerryn (Kez) Tippet performed the heartfelt Ceremony and I highly recommend her to anyone who has yet to book their Celebrant.

A Garden Party for the children followed, which was styled to perfection. Lots of fun was had with great tunes by the DJ, a lucky dip, yummy food and the festivities were topped off with Jemma throwing her bouquet!

The evening flowed with a wonderful atmosphere, plenty of laughs, more great music, the BEST Wedding speech of the Year by Dan (Daves Best Man) and a delicious Croquembouche, by the one and only Adriano Zumbo.

Thank you Dave & Jemma for sharing your day with us. We laughed, we cried, we opened our hearts a little wider and captured magic.
