Last Saturday saw Laura & I bask in the Sunshine to photograph the Wedding of Sarah & Scott. It was an afternoon filled with love, laughter and a hint of vintage whimsy. They chose lovely old cars, the type that was featured in the Walton’s, or as Sarah described them “The ones with big wheels”. As a side note, for anyone under 35, the Walton’s was a great TV show that ran from 1972 (the year I was born, fabulous year) until 1981 and instilled wonderful family values as well as teaching the viewers to say “Goodnight John-Boy”. Back to the Wedding, the Ceremony was held at the Vintage Chapel (Carriage House) with the Reception held at Lindemans. We drove to an incredible private (at least I think it’s private) Estate for photographs and I’m so glad we did. I have to say Popcorn created magic yet again. Mind you it’s not hard when all the essential elements come together, gorgeous Couple, fabulous backdrop, perfect weather, fun Bridal party and cars with big wheels – seriously, what more could a Wedding Photographer ask for?
Next stop was the big tree at Lindemans where we spent a few minutes taking final photos before heading inside for the evening. Laura and I made a great team yet again and I hope you love the photos as much as we do!
