I loved, loved, loved this wedding! Laura & Michael were married on the 25th October 2013 at Hunter Valley Gardens. I'm not going to lie, it was a
sultry, warm. pretty hot, scorching day in Pokolbin and thankfully our lovebirds provided their guests with fans to keep the heat at bay.
Being the champagne queen that I am, we were discussing this nectar of the Gods at Laura & Michael's Boy meets Girl shoot. I happened to mention that my French bucket list bubbles is "Cristal", having tried all the others (yes, I'm a self confessed French Champagne snob), it is the last on my list...and I believe will be the most magnificent of all.
Why am I telling you this? Well Michael must have taken this on board and surprised his beautiful bride with not only 1, but 2 bottles of this luscious liquid! Crying into my diet coke, I lovingly photographed one of these babies like it was my newborn child and with much grief in my heart, tenderly handed it back to have it's cork popped for some celebratory sips.
Looking like a goddess in her exquisite gown, it was time to travel to the ceremony where our couple became husband and wife. We had a wonderful time in the gardens capturing many fun moments with their bridal party, along with capturing divine moments with the newlyweds.
A helicopter was their preferred mode of transport to travel to Peterson's Champagne House for their reception, but before landing they had some quality time together taking in the views of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Before rejoining their loved ones, we photographed some very loving images amongst the vines at sunset.
Michael and Laura's reception was fun from start to end. They kept guests entertained all evening with games, live music and a DJ to keep the party atmosphere going until their grand sparkler exit.
Talk about a "wow" factor wedding. I have to thank Laura (not the bride, but Photographer) and Super Assistant Joe for shooting this special day with me...mega hugs for a splendid job!
Now I have to thank Laura & Michael for planning an epic wedding and choosing Popcorn Photography to photograph it. We LOVED every minute.
Enjoy this bumper Sneak Peek.
