Adelaide Wedding Photographer + Popcorn Photography + Bird in hand winery + Emma and Jordan Murdoch

Jordan and I could not recommend the Popcorn Photography team highly enough. Laura and Mere are so incredibly warm and lovely. They are easy to work with, and are highly professional on the job. They went above and beyond to ensure that Jordan and I were comfortable, which of course produced the best photos! They flew to Adelaide and scoped out the venue and surrounds, and came up with ideas that we didn’t even think of. To top it off, communication with the girls was great, as they responded quickly and answered the smallest and silliest questions we had, with no judgment! Of course, the photos were absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience all round. If you’re after wedding photographers who are talented, professional, produce unbelievable photos, and are generally awesome people, the team at Popcorn are your girls!

AS FEATURED IN COSMO BRIDE

Em and Jordan are honestly one of the coolest couples we've ever gotten to work with - both of them just radiate positive, happy vibes and they are both ridiculously easy going, easy to photograph and super lovely!

Mere and I first met Em and Jords in the flesh when they flew to the Hunter from Melbourne (their hometown) to do their Boy Meets Girl shoot with us. I picked them up from the airport and the three of us chatted the whole way from Newcastle to the Hunter. These two lovebirds met while they were at Uni, both of them living on campus. Em has recently finished her law degree (congrats girl!) and Jords decided to pursue a full time sporting career with the Geelong Cats (That's AFL or as Mere and I know it - the footy game where they jump stupidly high for the ball). The way that they look at each other is enough to give anyone goosebumps. They muck around like kids, are competitive and sassy and then all of a sudden they give each other a look, and holy smoke - it's electric!

They flew the Mere and I to Adelaide to capture their special day on the 8th October 2016 at Bird in Hand Winery, which was nothing short of spectacular.

We spent the week in Hahndorf attempting every German food challenge, some we won, some we lost and some we shall never speak of again. Hahndorf is such a lovely little village and we are so excited to visit again!

Our new and awesomely talented friend Keira Blanden Events styled the Wedding day to perfection, especially the Reception room which was absolutely breathtaking.

We were so incredibly lucky to have been given access by the beautiful neighbors of Bird In Hand winery to photograph in their personal garden for the location shoot - The gardens were magical and upon driving by the day before we knew we had to call in and meet them. Between the two of them, they would have had 32 green thumbs (ok, the visual is not great there, but you get my point) - you'll see in the below photographs, the light was so pretty and I was in heaven!

We felt (and still feel) incredibly lucky to have met so many kind and caring people whilst in Adelaide. Everyone is so gracious and accommodating, it's truly a beautiful City and well worth the visit if you've not been before.

The night was full of fun and excitement as Dj Ben Events took the reigns and played games with the Newlyweds, the guests and kept us all entertained all night long - he is absolutely sensational!

A huge thank you again to both Em and Jordan for sharing such an incredible day with Mere and I and for allowing us to capture a beautiful moment in your lives together! We feel blessed to have crossed paths with you - we know that the future will hold only amazing things and crazy fun for you both.

Big love & squishy cuddles,

Laura & Mere xx
