Raves

We initially stumbled across the Popcorn Photography website, while researching the possibility to have our wedding in the Hunter Valley. Not only did we fall in love with Popcorn from the photos on the site, but we feel in love with the idea of having our wedding in the Hunter from seeing all the amazing shots on their website.

From our initial meeting with Mere and Rog, to the day of our Wedding, Mere & Rog were both a complete dream. For starters it felt more like we had family taking photos of our day, we were both so relaxed with Mere & Rog, and they helped keep us calm, and made us really enjoy our day. When little things came up to worry us, they just eased our minds, and kept us laughing and smiling all day.

Our photos and album are just beautiful, and more then we could have ever of hoped for. When we first saw the photos from our day, we were completely blown away. There were so many photos where we like “wow, we didn’t even know they were taking these shots” All our photos are natural, and completely us, not just staged shots.

One of our favourite photos would have to be the shot of us lying on the grass out the front of our reception. We were lying face to face, and Mere and Rog sprinkled rose petals all around us. This photo really captured the scene of the day for us, and it’s one of the shots that completely blow people away when we show them our Album.

Wow Mere, what an awesome surprise to wake up to! I’ve been hanging out ever since the wedding looking forward to seeing the photos and here you give me a sneak peek preview! Yay, so thoughtful and generous.

I am blown away by the photos. You’ve truly worked your magic on a camera-shy bride and groom, and captured some amazing candid moments of us. I can’t believe how well the pics turned out even the times when I knew you were taking a photo, such as the amazing photos at the fountain!

I love the one of me and Dave seated in front of the cherry-blossom, listening to Sarah’s speech. I also LOVE the cute one of our fabulous bridal party Sarah and Dan, smiling for the camera. Gorgeous one with the flower kids, and love all the ones with Dave smiling so handsomely. The back of his head’s not bad either!!!

I can’t wait to show my mum these- she’s going to love them. You and Laura are fabulous.

And I’m so delighted by the story you wrote- I’m really glad to hear you were able to find something special for yourselves in capturing our day for us. We felt so relaxed and safe and really appreciated your warm embrace.

Thank you for the sneak peek of photos, we love them!!!!!!! can’t wait to see the rest of them. We haven’t been able to stop looking at theses ones all day, they bring back such happy and good memories. We are blessed to have had such a great day, with the best of everything.

We are so happy with your photos. When we heard they were ready to view we told all our family and we jumped online straight away! The whole room was filled with ‘Aww’, ‘Ooooh’ and ‘Ahhh’s’ which kept getting louder and more frequent as we went through each photo. Our Wedding was so amazing, but it went so fast for Sarah and I, so it was so special to sit and admire our day through your lovely photos. Thank you for being so great to us through the whole Wedding process, from pre-shoot to reception. We are very impressed with the quality and quantity of photos that you took, the entire day was covered beautifully. Your friendly nature and smiling faces made us both feel like celebrities, so once again thank you for all your hard work, we very much appreciate it.

I have looked at the disc with the pictures on them and i must say how bloody wonderful are they, I am very impressed and very happy that we chose you guys because as all brides and grooms want their wedding photos to turn out well and they have and then some.

Organising a wedding can be very difficult and stressful at times. Just like any bride I wanted every part of my wedding to be perfect and really reflect who my husband and I are as people.
Popcorn Photography was recommended to me by Events of Elegance and after the first phone conversation with Rog, I knew that I could set aside any worries about the photography at our wedding.
Rog and Mere worked with us to custom create a package that suited our needs for our wedding, including our budget. Both my husband and I found them very professional, friendly and experienced both in preparations for the wedding as well as on the wedding day.
