Popcorn Photography left the Hunter Valley for a road trip South last Thursday and Oh how we loved this Wedding! Belgenny Farm at Camden was our destination and is truly a spectacular venue for any function. Built by convicts in the 1800’s for John & Elizabeth Macarthur, this very special property oozes rustic charm yet has all the modern conveniences you would expect for your Wedding. With stables, blacksmith’s, creamery, wagons, vineyards, paddocks, big old trees, smokehouse and every other Agricultural delight available for your photography, Rog & I were in “pig heaven” (that just slipped out, I swear), when Joel & Sarah were married there. With a Jane Austin Theme and the bridesmaids dressed accordingly (complete with fans and parasols) this wedding was a sheer delight. The only thing missing was a glimmering, wet Mr Darcy strolling toward me rendering me breathless & giddy! OK fantasy over, back to the lovely Joel & Sarah.
The light during the afternoon was magnificent and we took advantage of every last drop. Being in the Country, the air was clear, the grass lush and with a backdrop of rustic architecture, we were able to capture some very special images. Their bridal party were so much fun and kept Rog & I laughing, whilst Joel & Sarah are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, with smiles as bright as the sun and hearts as warm as the cosiest fire, we feel very honoured to have been their chosen Photographers. Please enjoy this very special sneak peek.
