I have said this before, I know, but at Popcorn Photography, we are blessed to be able to work with some of the loveliest people on earth. This wedding, was one of those times. Louise and Neil were so lovely and it was such a pleasure to be able to photograph their special day. Louise has the most incredible body (insert jealous face) and she allowed me to photograph her sitting beside her gorgeous gown on the sofa. I knew it would be a great shot, but what I loved more, was that she trusted me. I asked her permission to use it in this sneak peek and was so happy she agreed.
Ok, back to the rest of the day. Louise and Neil chose The Vintage as their venue and horse and cart as their mode of transport. When Lou arrived at the carriage house, she looked so regal sitting in the carriage, I was half expecting to see the royal wave. She was truly picture perfect.
The ceremony was fun and the happy couple chose Beatles songs throughout, which set the tone for a very fun day!
From horse and carriage to golf buggies and off we went around the grounds for photos. Once we lost the light, we headed back for their sensationally styled reception. Of course Darlene from Peonies was the styling guru and floral designer. That woman, really is the best!
We left the happy couple dancing well into the night and it was another wonderful day for Rog & I.
We received this from Louise & Neil, which we would like to share with you. Thank you both for choosing us and for being wonderful in every way.
Hello Rog and Mere,
Sorry it has taken me a while to email you both....it has been non stop for us since after the wedding. The family have been keeping us busy! Anyway, we just wanted to email you to say a BIG thank you for all your hard work on our wedding day.
You are both such vibrant and charismatic people, you are not only fun to be around but you are also masters in the art of making people relax around you so that they forget that you are there actually taking photos (of course, I mean that in the nicest possible way! :0) )
Mere, I wanted to say a special thank you to you for being so patient and understanding with me when I was feeling unwell, I was really struggling at one point and you just seemed to know what to say and do. So for that, I thank you!
I have also been giggling ever since at the fact that you managed to convince me (I admit it wasn't particularly hard!) to just sit there casually in my underwear and shoes! I can't wait to see those shots, Neil will love them ;0)
Rog, Neil has also said how brilliant you were at his mum and dads apartment on the morning of the wedding and he extremely grateful that you tied his tie properly for him! ... shame no one got a snap of that ;0) LOL
Overall, we loved having you both photograph us and we know that you will have captured many special moments throughout the day and that we will be able to look back at the photos and remember those moments forever. We can't wait to see them!
You really are a great team and your passion and enthusiasm for your work shines through brightly. Thank you both for all your hard work, we can't wait to see the final product!!
Wishing you both all the best for the future,
Louise and Neil xx
